Olaide Oboh recognised as 'The Community Champion' by Bisnow

Bisnow have listed the 41 stars of this years Women Leading Real Estate who are not just brilliant business people... They are mentors, diversity champions, innovators and radical thinkers. They are the present and future of an industry undergoing change at an unprecedented pace.

The list is more diverse than ever, and features leaders and newcomers in emerging sectors like life sciences, senior living and co-living, as well as people reinventing traditional sectors like offices and industrial.

We are proud to see Olaide featured as The Community Champion and this aligns with her passion for "people-first development". Olaide plays a vital role in shaping Socius’ projects to ensure they meet local needs and deliver socioeconomic benefits throughout their life cycle. Over the past two years, her work with local communities has been crucial in Socius securing planning consent for the £175M regeneration of the Soapworks site in Bristol and for MK Gateway, the repurposing of an office building in Milton Keynes and a cutting-edge live-work destination.

Olaide is also leading Socius’ application for B Corp status and serves as a mentor to people from Black and ethnic minorities pursuing a career in real estate.
