Populate and Socius to walk 15 miles for Maggie’s

On 26 September 2025, Olaide, Vic and Izzy will take on a 15 mile walk from Hammersmith to St Paul’s, participating in the London Night Hike in support of Maggie’s Cancer Care.

With one of its centres located at The Royal Marsden Hospital, part of The London Cancer Hub, our Populate and Socius teams are proud to support Maggie’s in continuing its invaluable work to provide free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their families.

We’re excited to join hundreds of fellow supporters on a route that passes some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks along the river, including Battersea Power Station, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, the London Eye and St Paul’s Cathedral.

The London Cancer Hub is a global centre for cancer innovation. Our vision is to create a world-class campus for life sciences in the London Borough of Sutton that will attract leading scientists, clinicians and companies working in cancer research. By accelerating the discovery and delivery of new treatments, we aim to make a significant impact in the fight against cancer.

The London Cancer Hub is the home of The Institute of Cancer Research, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, a Maggie's Centre and the Innovation Gateway.

This upcoming challenge follows a successful year of fundraising in 2024, during which the team raised more than £11,000 for The Institute of Cancer Research, Anthony Nolan and Cancer Research UK.

Please support Olaide, Vic and Izzy as they help Maggie’s continue to offer vital support to people when cancer has turned their lives upside down. Donate now here.
