Construction progress at Edward Street Quarter

With 2021 coming to an end, it's time to celebrate the progress we’ve made at Edward Street Quarter!

Scaffolding has started to come down and you can get a glimpse of the redevelopment of the former AMEX House in Brighton city centre, which will deliver 110,000 sq ft of workspace for Brighton’s burgeoning creative and media sectors, including a significant coworking element, alongside 40,000 sq ft of leisure space and 168 new homes.

Designed by BGY, the scheme is inspired by Brighton’s eclectic street scene and will also introduce a high-quality public realm, with three new public spaces created by renowned landscape designers Spacehub.

Steve Eccles, Director at Socius, commented: “We are pleased to end the year on a high with scaffolding coming down on the residential and commercial buildings. Homes are available to buy, there is strong interest in the workspace and we look forward to welcoming people in 2022"
