Team Socius mark one year with a volunteering push

To commemorate one year of Socius, the team rolled up their sleeves and joined local partners in Bristol and Milton Keynes to volunteer. Joel, Andy, Liam, Connie, Nicola and Doug helped at the MK Food Bank sorting the food and packing much needed parcels that are distributed every week. On the same day, the rest of the team (Barry, Phil, Olaide, Victoria, Ashley, Daniel, Leila, Mike and Luke) joined up with ACH in Bristol who work to build better futures for refugees and migrants in the UK. The team helped to prepare the new apartments and communal gardens for residents by clearing the overgrown gardens, assembling furniture and preparing the bedrooms and the shared kitchens.

Liam Ronan-Chlond, Socius Social Value Lead said “Whilst we all volunteer at different times in the year, coming together on our one year anniversary was a good way to build on our partnerships with these excellent local charities. We look forward to continuing to provide support over the coming months and years”.
