UKREiiF gives an opportunity to empower young people

This May, members of the Socius team will be heading to UKREiiF - The UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum taking place in Leeds.

The three-day event brings together the public sector – with every core UK city and region attending – alongside Government, investors, funders, developers, housebuilders and more, to connect people, places and businesses aiming to accelerate and unlock sustainable, inclusive and transformational investment.

It’s a hugely influential event with over 10k attendees, over 700 speakers across 30 different stages, more than 150 exhibitors plus a vast number of fringe events to engage with.

The event in 2024 is focusing on four key themes; Sustainability & Net Zero, Future of Real Estate; Inward Investment and Social Value & EDI. As an impactful developer, with a keen focus on social value, Socius is committed to continuing to push the boundaries of the beneficial environmental and social impact that our developments can have.

This year, UKREiiF’s charity partner is Regeneration Brainery - the award-winning not-for-profit organisation that has worked with thousands of young people from under-represented backgrounds since setting up in 2017. They aid social mobility by boosting diversity, increasing job awareness, combating the lack of effective work experience, and helping overcome the skills shortage in the property industry.

Socius is teaming up with Regeneration Brainery to co-host a symposium workshop on 21 May which will explore how young people can be better empowered to shape the future of our cities, through skills and placemaking. Invitees giving their thoughts at the workshop will include representatives from Future London, Aviva, Railpen, Savills, Bidwells and many more.

Guarantee a place at the table by emailing or turn up on the day to join an energy-filled session.
