This week we welcomed Louis Hellier to the Populate team for a six-month internship as part of his Human Geography degree at the University of Plymouth.
Louis first got in touch with us earlier this year, keen to gain experience on the development side of the industry and explore his interest in creating places that deliver positive outcomes for both people and the environment.
He joins us with previous experience at Bristol City Council’s urban planning team and Cityscape Digital in London, as well as having recently studied sustainability-focused land use law in the US.
Over the next six months, Louis will be getting stuck into life at Populate, working across our projects and supporting everything from activation, events and community engagement to marketing, social impact and new business.
We’re delighted to have him with us and look forward to giving him plenty of hands-on experience over the months ahead.
