Luke is also a key member of the project team for the London Cancer Hub, tasked with creating a sustainable district dedicated to excellence in cancer research. Katrina, joining Socius as a Senior Project Manager, brings over 20 years of extensive experience in construction and development from her previous tenure at Lendlease. During her time there, she contributed to significant projects such as the 60-acre Euston transport hub, a 5 million sq ft office development at International Quarter East London for the Financial Conduct Authority’s new headquarters, and a comprehensive 50-acre mixed-use development at Silvertown Quays, which included offices, apartments, leisure and community spaces, and retail outlets.
Now part of the team at Botanic Place, Katrina is overseeing a £500 million development in Cambridge. This ambitious project is set to deliver the UK’s most sustainable and intelligent workspace outside of London. The development is designed to consume 70% less energy than typical office buildings and will be powered by renewable energy sources. Additionally, the project will integrate the preservation of the historic The Flying Pig pub, while also creating 15,000 sq ft of internal amenities including events and food and beverage spaces, complemented by 40,000 sq ft of terraces on multiple levels for both private and communal uses.

Before her tenure at Socius, Nathalie worked with renowned developers such as Ballymore and First Base, where she contributed to a variety of projects, from high-end schemes to large-scale multi-tenure regeneration initiatives. Most recently, she spent four years at Pocket Living on their leadership team, leading both the affordable and open market sales teams. There, she played a crucial role in accelerating the sales pipeline and collaborated closely with project teams to ensure the developments were well-suited to market demands.
Nathalie has also held significant sales and consultancy positions at leading firms like Savills and Knight Frank, enhancing her deep industry knowledge and expertise.

Currently, Joel is involved with the MK Gateway team, assisting in the preparation of construction plans. He is also collaborating with the Devonshire Gardens team in Cambridge on a £180 million project that promises to deliver Grade A workspace, residential units, and a new public park close to the railway station. This project is committed to setting new benchmarks for environmental sustainability, significantly enhancing biodiversity and designing for net zero carbon operations.

With a robust background in addressing business and technological challenges, building dynamic teams, and brokering major project deals, he now serves as a strategic business and tech advisor to real estate companies and burgeoning scaleups.
Currently, Jupiter is collaborating with Socius to spearhead internal digitalisation efforts and integrate cutting-edge PropTech innovations. He is also active as an angel investor, supporting various start-ups. Before this, he founded and successfully exited a VC-backed tech start-up, District Technologies, and managed coworking spaces in both Berlin and London. Jupiter is particularly driven by the confluence of technology, climate change, and real estate, and is dedicated to pushing forward innovations in the built environment.
As Development Director, Doug oversees two significant projects in Cambridge, both financed by Railpen. These initiatives target BREEAM Outstanding status, employ an all-electric energy strategy, and adhere to the NABERS certification process.
Botanic Place is a £500 million development situated in a prime central location in Cambridge. This project is set to provide 500,000 sq ft of the city’s most sustainable and intelligent office space, with an energy demand projected to be 70% lower than typical office buildings of similar scale.
Devonshire Gardens, a £180 million mixed-use development also in central Cambridge, will offer a range of workspaces across three interconnected buildings. Additionally, the scheme includes 70 new rental homes, a children’s nursery, and a new public park with a pavilion, all conveniently located a short walk from Cambridge station.
Doug is also responsible for leading sustainability efforts across the business. He champions a proactive approach to minimizing environmental impact, ensuring that all direct carbon emissions are measured, validated, and reported. Through the company’s commitment to Planet Mark, he drives annual reductions in these emissions.
Previously, Doug gained extensive experience at DTZ and the London & Aberdeen Group, where he successfully led and delivered major mixed-use projects, including the Landing in Maidenhead and Ryger House in St James’s, London.

Before joining Socius, Liam gained valuable experience working for an MP in Manchester and later held senior policy positions at councils in Sheffield, Brighton, and Camden.
At Socius, Liam is responsible for engagement and social value, focusing on reaching communities and stakeholders in the various towns and cities where the company operates. His work is crucial in fulfilling our commitment to creating long-term positive impacts in these areas.
Liam's responsibilities encompass directing and monitoring social value programs, managing political and stakeholder engagement, and overseeing public consultation and communications across all projects.

Peter is an accomplished engineer and developer known for his work with both government and industry to enhance environmental and operational practices in construction. His significant contributions to the field earned him a CBE for Services to Construction in 2007. He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Society of Arts, and an Honorary Fellow of the RIBA.
As a co-founder of Stanhope and Lipton Rogers, Peter has played a pivotal role in the cost-effective design and delivery of many of London’s iconic projects. His portfolio includes developments such as 1 Finsbury Avenue and Broadgate in the 1980s, extending to 22 Bishopsgate in the 2020s.
